Want to work at ToolTime? Check our open jobs and find out what it’s like to work at ToolTime.
ToolTime is a SaaS company built on the idea of change. Since 2019 it’s been our mission to provide the operating system for craftsmen - from offer creation through to time tracking, we digitize and simplify the work they carry out across their entire business. This is why over 85 highly talented people with diverse backgrounds and nationalities come to work every day. Along the way, ToolTime has raised more than €25 million in capital and brought onboard investors who are themselves rooted in the craftsmen industry.
Never go alone when you want to achieve big things. We are a strong team and asking for help is crucial to our success. Disagree and commit, once a decision is made by the team, everyone stands behind it.
Questioning is our daily business. Life is trial and error and room for mistakes is important to us. We are a young company progressing continuously. The status quo is one of many stops on our journey.
Being positive is not always easy that is why 2% grumpy is totally ok. Misunderstandings can happen sometimes, especially when working remote, therefore we always assume good intentions.
Enjoy spending time with other ToolTimers during regular team lunches, and come together to celebrate at regular company and team events.

Once per quarter the team comes together onsite for our #besttogether week, and we fill the time with workshops, talks, team events and a lot of fun.
Even if it’s no surprise: Our fridge is always filled with soda, beer and prosecco. You will also find tea, coffee and fresh fruits in our office.

Create your own benefit package from more than 35 partners and choose between a variety of vouchers and subsidies.
At ToolTime we hire for culture and mindset as much as we hire for skill. We tailor the exact process to meet the job’s specific demands. Here are the most-common interviewing steps:
Let’s get to know each other. We want to find out more about you, why you are interested in ToolTime and give you more information about the role and the company.
A call with your potential direct manager who’ll chat about your role, walk you through the current and upcoming challenges, and check upon your experience and skills
Next up is a full onsite day with the people you would work with regularly if you get the job, both in your direct and cross-functional team. For engineering, you will have a pairing exercise.
The hiring decision is not left to a single person – the whole hiring team makes the final call. We vote and describe our decision based on competencies showed, and culture values displayed during the hiring process.
Our office is perfectly connected in the heart of Friedrichshain just next to Boxhagener Platz surrounded by many bars, cafés and restaurants where we can spend the lunch break together or have an after work drink.
